    No.

Only a handful of fighters are/or were actually "draws" that can get decent PPV numbers: Conor, Ronda, GSP, Brock, Jones and Anderson.

He's an average draw. He did 320k and 290k for his PPVs in 2016.

my point is: is he enough of a draw to hold a complete division down?

maybe 2 real titlefights could have happened and the UFC could have earned more

    and the fans BTW...

Who's the bigger draw that's in contention? Mousashi? Romero? Rockhold? Jacare?

Bisping is a bigger draw than all of them.

He brought the UK to the UFC. He is/was very important to the UFC for that reason. Just like they want a true Mexican to win a belt.

He's not a draw as such. But, he has a fanbase that watch his fights. Even haters like watching. Like Bisping vs Hendo ll. Completely ridiculous first defence of a belt. But, the fans wanted it. And alot folks tuned in to see Hendo land another H-Bomb.

Well, he landed 2 of them. But, lost the fight. Oops.

I have no idea what's going on with that fucked up division. Or in which direction the UFC is moving in.

I look at him as a guy who can do a good job selling his fight. He has his fans but many will want to see him fight just to get the loss.
