What are the typical payouts for minor injuries that result in the loss of 100k max? People keep saying millions and I have a hard time believing that. Assault is a pretty ordinary offense, and while I know Conor is rich and famous, what he did is not particularly heinous. He clearly didn’t have true malice and intent to injury. I’m just wondering what kind of precedent this type of situation has? Ex Charlie sheen attacking paparazzi, was that millions in lawsuits (who had intent to harm)? Did Jon jones pay millions the the lady injured in the dui? Both instances show far more intent to harm than Conor, and those situations were proverbial slaps on the wrist.
