Very sad story. The boys were asphyxiated to death, but not swallowed. There have been a few cases of a python swallowing a child which I have no reason to doubt, but so far I've never seen a credible story of an adult being consumed whole.

You know, I've read that several places before, but snakes have been recorded eating huge game. If a snake can put down a 100lb deer without issue, then why not a person? The only issue would be the shoulders, which are smaller on some people than the game that snakes regularly eat. It's hard to argue with a video of them pulling a man out of a snake though.
