Go play fuckin Mario !
Super Mario Bros
Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike
Virtua Fighter 2
Jet Set Radio
Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time
Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past
Super Mario World
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Play this games and compare it to modern games, and you can tell how trash modern gaming is.
Mario is better
I wish that mods were setup for console Oblivion. I want to revisit it but it just seems dated, im spoiled by better graphics.
pocket pool sounds more your style
I actually don't. I remember one or two blue dots that resulted in a cutscene but I dont remember GTA IV having proper side missions or random events.
It's been a while, but if I remember correctly, you would have encounters on the street every so often that were usually just cutscenes, but if you finished the little story thread with them, there would be a small mission at the end of it all.
I was pretty shocked at how boring RDR was when I finally got around to playing it. The controls weren't very intuitive and I couldn't really get into the story. I was super surprised at how people cherished that game... just don't get it.
For a reference, my favorite games recently are
Wolfenstein : New World Order
Dishonored 1 & 2
Secrects of mana
add in Shadow of the Colossus and Majora's Mask and were on the same page
RDR was very fun to me. I thought Vanilla Skyrim was dogshit.
Skyrim literally made a billion in sales revenue. It cost roughly 100 million to make, not including all maintenance and DLC. Still, one billion in revenue and one tenth of that in cost: crunch the numbers any way you like!
Many people have displays such as these when they open Steam:
Keep in mind Special Edition came out very recently, too:
Not doing much achievements this time: already using dozens of mods so achievement disabled!
These are obviously mine: http://forums.sherdog.com/threads/skyrim-special-edition.3375293/
I think RDR is a damn good game.
When John is killed at the end, and you play as Jack years later and avenge your father's death, that made me feel like such a bad ass.
Never played Skyrim.
Terrible compared to what? Games that came out later? Games with half the features? Games with half the mechanics? If you cant see what an accomplishment Skyrim is you don't have good taste. You're probably playing Skyward or something stupid.
Modern games are better. Not even close. I'll take sunshine over Mario world. Breath of the Wild over a Link to The past. Street fighter and soul caliber aren't as fun as smash bros. There have been great Jrpgs all along the time line. And Sonic? Really?
Skyrim i sort of agree with but thats from someone who didnt spend alot of time with it.
RDR however, is a masterpiece.
Graphically - Yes
Gameplay Wise - No
Replayability - Definitely Not
Shadow of Colossus and Ocarina of Time are Masterpiece and will be talk about for ages, today's games are nothing but virtually stunning crap shit.
Then stop buying modern games and just stick to indie games.
I don't play indie games, I play retro games.
