Total war is how state v state tribe v tribe. Conflicts have are should be waged .

total wars are usually necessitated in part, because the citizenry are the ones keeping the war effort going. they make the bombs. its also the government itself that must be defeated in order to win the war. and in ww2, the majority of the citizens were actively participating, and supporting, the war itself. none of these things are the case right now in the middle east.

so imo, youd be evil for waging a total war against......what? the whole middle east? just the areas that isis controls (very little area now)?
