Well I see the point I was trying to make flew right over your head, so I'm not going to engage in anymore discussion with you itt. All you are doing is making the situation toxic.

The point you were trying to make has no merit. Kapernick risked his image/brand/lucrative career. SJWs only risk their ego.

That's ridiculous. He took a knee. The national anthem has zero to do with job performance. It has zero to do with the game. If he would have said fuck the national anthem on a self made youtube vid, on his own time, and it went viral, would you have a problem with it? He is off the job. But I'm willing to bet the NFL would still have something to say

Lol at you taking some self made theory and running with it. How exactly am I supposed to construct a counter argument to this?

You can't, because it's not necessary to argue with the truth.

It was part of the telecast, it was part of the job. Personally, I'd think Kaep was a dumbass if he made some anit-American YouTube video, but I'd likely not give it much thought.

If he did it on his own time I'd think he's a douche but have no issues in relation to football.

Keep your politics and social activism out of the work place unless that happens to be your job.

I can see all sides on this one and the way this has played out I don't really see a bad guy.

Kaepernick did his protests and knew exactly what he was doing. He's not an idiot, he knows how the media is and what kind of a circus it would create. He chose to do it anyway. Fair enough. In fact, good on him for having the balls. If that's truly how he feels then who am I to say he's wrong?

I'm the other hand, NFL teams who are far more interested in winning football games than they are in politics have every right to not want that circus around their team.

Employers are not required to give a fuck about your political crusades. There's nothing racist about it.

The NFL employs a lot of black guys. I can't imagine they're too worried about the optics of this.

When CK walks out for a game does he get a grand entrance with fireworks, music, and he will have a wooden cross on his back?

What a fucking troll job. No effort put in at all. What's worse is that there were some responses as if this were a serious thread.

Talent to Distraction ratio. This formula is why Chad Johnson and T.O. got the boot even when they could still play. It's not just about what you can do on the field. Coaches hate distractions more than anything. So a player has to be worth it. Backups need not apply.

He actually tried to save his floundering career with this pathetic stunt. This back up QB had the stones to opt out of his contract, hoping to use his SJW icon status to bully another team into giving him a more lucrative deal.

Sometimes you roll the dice, and come up snake eyes. He should try the CFL. He could get a good deal over here.

Maybe Shaq and Barkley didn't get the memo on how black people are all supposed to think and act.

No but they got the memo on how uncle toms are supposed to think and act. There not going to take a stance and speak up for blacks being harrassed by cops. They don't want to jepordize their precious positions.
