why is that a dumb strategy? hes the king of usa.
You answered your own question.

Hey if you think personally attacking the leader of the most powerful country in the world is a grand idea, you go ahead and think that.

if you can twist his arm and change his calculations about how the policy may impact him....why is that a dumb strategy? should they just assume that hes SOOOOOO patriotic that he will take a personal hit for the country? is the latter what your suggesting? lolololol

That's an opinion piece, written by a bitter limp-dicked loser. You should learn the difference between "fact" and "opinion." It's nobody's opinion that North Korea agreed to complete denuclearization – It's a fact. You may think it's a bad deal, or perhaps you think Hillary could negotiate a better deal, but that would be your opinion. And you're entitled to your opinion, no matter how stupid it is.

But everyone knows that Liberals wish North Korea hadn't agreed to complete denuclearization. Libs have been warning all year about how Trump's tough talk would cause a nuclear war, and the exact opposite happened. How embarassing for you! So now you're even saltier than before. You actually wish we were on the brink of nuclear war, because let's be honest – there's nothing worse for you than a strong, thriving, successful United States of America. And that's not just my opinion...

United States President Donald Trump offered a misleading characterization of his deal with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un on Thursday, insisting the nation had agreed to begin "total denuclearization" right away.

In reality, the document he signed with Kim at their June 12 summit in Singapore only reiteratedNorth Korea's previous commitment to "work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula."
Sitting in the Cabinet Room next to Defense Secretary James Mattis, Trump insisted the document read: "We will immediately begin total denuclearization of North Korea," an opaque phrase that the United States and North Korea view differently.

Trump also said North Korea had begun destroying test sites.
But only Wednesday, Mattis said he was "not aware" of any indications that North Korea had taken concrete steps to dismantle any more of its infrastructure for the launching of ballistic missiles or any additional steps to fully denuclearize following the June 12 summit in Singapore between Trump and Kim.
"Obviously, we are at the very front end of the process, the detailed negotiations have not begun," Mattis told reporters on Wednesday. "I wouldn't expect that at this point."

someone should tell his Defense Secretary then

I guess they could and that would be nice to see, but it's far more profitable to leverage his business interests to get favors at his country's expense, like China and Russia are doing.

Lectures someone about the difference between fact and opinions...

...presents his idiotic opinion as fact. Classic Trumptard.

Actually, now we're pointing out that he gave away historically unprecedented concessions for a denuclearization agreement that is one of the weakest ever negotiated with NK. It's not even as strong as the one negotiated between NK and SK a month ago.

Now liberals are skeptical that NK is going to stick to this weak agreement when they've continually backed out of stronger ones... especially in light of the complete bullshit Trump is spewing in its aftermath.

Zip it, dirty liberal.

Johnny Ringo... you look like Someone just shitposted all over your grave

No that would just be a short term strategy that still leaves Trump in office.
If I were the EU and decided that there is no reasoning with Trump.
I would communicate with the Chinese to incorporate sanctions that make sure Trump won't get reelected.
You just have to target 2 or 3 states and he can't win again.

They should go after Adelson. Shut his casino's in Macau.

in what way? its a way to show the American people that the EU is not attacking them, but Trump personally. Or do you right wing nutballs take an attack on Trumps finances as an attack on the country?

Trump is representing us. He was elected to kill the Iran deal, confront China and the EU on trade, fix immigration, pull out of the paris accord, and so on. These are the decisions of the American people being carried out by our elected representative. To try and take out, stop, or strong arm our president in order to stop these things can only be seen as an attack on the American people.

That's a pretty good point. If we're getting into a trade war that Trump started, Id rather they fuck with his money than something that would directly affect me.

You answered your own question.

What do you think Trump cares more about?

A. His finances.
B. Other people's finances.

He seems fine getting into trade wars and sacrificing the livelihood of others, but let's see if he feels the same way when it hits his pockets.

I refuse to believe you people don't see the stupidity in this idea.

I would see it as the best way to show the American people that the EU does not hold them responsible for the actions of one asshole

But apparently others would view it as an attack on the American people
