He's gonna fight Brock then retire. Gus/Volkan is gonna end up a title fight.

    ummmm are you silly?

    shogun is above them all
    especially if he wins
he's on a 4 fight damn win streak

gus vs shogun should have been for the #1 contender

Romero can fight some noob like Pat Cunmin

i will not vote in your poll

I like the Romero fight. He already beat the top lhw's available for him to fight, and it's a fresh fight against a dangerous opponent.

To everyone suggesting Gus, I hear you. He's the only real rematch option besides Stipe. If anybody deserves another fight with DC, it's Stipe. I'd still rather see the Romero fight because I'm not fond of rematches where there was a clear winner the first time.

I thought you were a fan of Shogun? Do you really want him to die?

Wow, so Yoel did not cheat vs Tim? He answered the bell and did not have whatever thrown all over him when he was on Queer Street? He cheated but the ref did not have the heart, knowledge or sack to disqualify him, just like when Gunnar got blinded and KO'd. I'm not defending Tim, he held his glove, cheated too, but Yoel cheated as well..

He constantly bends the rules and just dares someone to do something about it, and then they do "no hablo English.....yo no comprehende"; misses weight, shits his pants when losing the wrestling, water thrown on him to get breaks, not answering the bell when stunned, cage grabs, roids and much more.

Is Volkan seriously in play here for a title shot? He looked like cock against DC within the past year. He needs to do a lot more to get another title shot.

I think DC against Gus(assuming he has zero trouble with Volkan) or Romero are both very acceptable bouts. I'm OK with Romero skipping the line at 205 since there's really not much there. I don't care to see him waste the little time he has remaining on some of the "top" LHW opponents.

It was the ufc's cutman that fucked up, NOT Yoel's corner. and this is silly because the only reason Yoel didn't get more time to recover, is the stupid ref missed the foul. He SHOULD have gotten extra time to recover to begin with.

Your argument literally: Tim was getting owned the entire fight, but then he got a bunch of free shots because Yoel's hand was trapped in his glove. Since the ref didn't see it, Tim should have been given the maximum opportunity to capitalize on his foul, and finish him before he could recover. And he would have, if not for the ufcs cutman making a mistake!

That is so, so, so, so stupid. Really dumb. For real.

I don't like the idea of Romero getting an instant title shot. The fight could be fun but more than likely D.C. makes it look easy. Best case is for D.C. to just vacate the LHW belt and let the division, whats left of it, move on.

if Romero is willing to take it then i say why the fuck not?

yall are giving Gus way too much credit lets not forget DC was outpointing him ON THE FEET which was supposed to be Gus's advantage DC didn't even bother relying on his wrestling he was literally just testing his standup.....you don't bank on a guy who was basically a play thing

Either Shogun or Romero, even though the Gus fight was close, I want his last fight at LHW to be a different fighter than hes faced, Rua is somehow on a solid streak and a great win to add to his resume, or Romero is super fun because hes a fan favorite, returning to 205 for the first time in years, and is far better skill wise than last time he was in it and has ways to win. I think Cormier handily beats both but either of those two would be fun

Gus if he beats Volkan because their fight was close.
Romero if Volkan wins because the first Volkan/DC was not close at all.

But DC is taking a page of Michael Bisping book and calling for a fight with ancient shogun.

Why should Yoel get a title shot coming off of a loss with 0 fights at 205? I know that light heavyweight is weak but come on. If Gus wins he certainly deserves a rematch and honestly if Volkan wins then he deserves one too, beating Gus is no small feat.
