    So We have DC who just won the championship Vs a tall longer Stipe.. DC only having a 5'11 by 72inch Reach..

    Then we have Paulo Costa.... The guy gives hope to us Long torso'd. Shorter legged guys.. I mean the dude literally still does spinning high back kicks... And he just beat Hall with only a 72inch reach lol

    Why anyone would be losing their heads over reach stats in MMA is a little strange when it's really not considered too much even in boxing. So many of the best jabbers in contemporary boxing, or the best guys historically speaking, didn't have particularly noteworthy reaches. It's just a fact of the sport. Length matters, but raw ability and skill in any kind of package matters exponentially more.
