He doesn't dehydrate to make 205, often weighs in ~ 201-203 lbs and he's fat.

That's the size of a WW. Plenty of WWs are 200 lbs shredded and Shogun's not even that. He wouldn't even be a big guy at that weight class 35 lbs smaller.

He's losing fights because he's a small guy using a completely physical based style of aggression against guys up to 30 lbs of lean mass larger than him.

He could have dehydrated himself to WW size on Friday without even having to lose any fat weight. And that front kick he ate from WW sized guys wouldn't have taken as much as out of him. Smaller guys wouldn't be able to control him and neutralize his pressure.

He's just too slow and shopworn.

I do think MW would reinvigorate his career though like it did Machida. The weight cut would add some discipline and hopefully rekindle the fire of what it was like starting up.

It's probably become too routine for him at this point. If he wants to keep fighting, I think he needs to at least try MW once.

Hes losing because he is 36, and he has a ton if injuries and a whole lotta mileage.

Are you special or just trolling?
Guys at every weight class have gotten larger. Shogun is fighting guys that are 3-6" taller than him, 20-30 lbs heavier, and 10% less bodyfat than him. LHW fighters are Jones and Rumble sized in 2018.

GSP used to be a HUGE WW. Now he's just average or smallish there and is looking at fighting at 155.

You mean MW? I always thought he seemed small for LHW.

You guys are legit idiots. Shogun has repeatedly stated he weighs 220 to 230lbs. Height does not equal weight for the 1 millionth time.

He's been losing for the past 7 years since he 29-30. He'd had messed up knees for a long time up to that point and he was still winning world championships back when the top contenders were Machida sized guys. He started losing when, still just 29-30 and with the same injuries he had when he was winning, he had to start fighting guys the size of Jon Jones and Gus.

Shogun is actually a blown-up LW.

DC would be a WW if he wasn't morbidly obese, ditto for Fedor.

Shogun is slow as molasses for LHW. He'd get blitzed at WW.

Are you fucking serious?

he might run in to Nate "Gigantor" Diaz.

Shogun has big ass legs and is 6 ft 1. He could easily make 185 if he wanted to, but I think WW is a bit much. He has a lot of muscle with that fat and would have to cut into it.

He'd even be small at MW. He's 203 lbs and fat. Guys at MW are that weight and shredded. Cut the fat and he weighs like 190 lbs.

He's losing because his opponents are winning
<seedat>

Shogun cant beat anybody not named " machida "

Lol imagine Shogun slow ass against Adesanya, Costa, Wonderboy and on. He just got out blitzed by Anthony"lost to Josh Neer" Smith.

Shogun is fucking shot. Get over it
