Sheesh....We now have THREE weeks, without a solid fight card.

True that. I think I'll just watch porn then. Technically, I should say I'll watch 'more' porn <{ohyeah}>

UFC 223 is a decent card but still not worth 65$.

<{poor?}>

That's a bit harsh!

Usually find people who've never travelled or been outside of their own "area" are more hostile to foreign places.

Always wondered if that's because they're so insecure about going outside their comfort zone and away from the security blanket of friends and family? Perhaps it's jealousy they can't afford to travel so they take it out on places that look better than where they are? Maybe all the above ??

Asking cuz hot damn that was one strong remark over a understandable statement.

I agree and don't even live close to Australia ,forty bucks for a 4am time slot sucks!! No matter where one is .

I appreciate your concern for the guy I was pasting... but given your detailed reply, I feel as if I should provie a detailed answer to those who don't understand UK/Aus banter.

Between me and the guy I replied to (who is most likely the ancestor of some east London criminal)... he clearly understands that I am a Brit. And when British people refer to Australia as a prison colony it is meant purely in jest. And both cultures understand that without taking actual offence. As do they not take offence when we refer to one another as "cunt" because any true Aussie knows that "cunt" is actually a term of endearment. Much as it is in the UK (if only to a lesser extent). So to an outsider I can understand how this banter may be misunderstood as harsh xenophobia... it's not, in fact it's the opposite. Because Brits & Aussies/Kiwis understand each other far better than the mysteriously overdramatic American.

A one week gap is ok but three?

Ufc is dying

UFC will reward us with 3 straight weekends tho of some awesome cards and fights!!

Its only one night before - but pretty interesting I think - and I haven't seen anyone post about it yet...But Benson Henderson vs. Roger Huerta is on Bellator 196 April 6th.

I loved Huerta back in the day and Bendo is an all-time favorite of mine. Both have been struggling a bit in other orgs since leaving UFC, but still an interesting match IMO.

Edit: looks like a pretty weak card too, but don't follow Bellator much. Only 5 fights so far.

Inb4 people complaining about UFC not putting on enough cards, while also complaining about "weak" cards.
If anything they need to take their foot off the gas a bit. The whole how are we supposed to miss you if you don't go away type shit. Their ppv schedule seems fine. Just a LOT of other content crammed in between. People like us forum junkies are cool with it. But definitely isn't going to help with selling cards to their casual viewership. But I guess it comes down to push pull results. If they're drawing more total viewers annually by having lower viewed cards but more of them I guess whatever is good for their business. But it definitely drowns some of their hype building potential.

idk about the fights
Conor is real champ
jj gets gift wrapped rematch
and the rest of the card
<FookIsThatGuy>

ACB cage warriors and invicta this weekend. Not sure what there is to miss.

Sucks for you nerds who exclusively watch MMA; I actually watch other sports so I'm chillin with NCAA basketball, NBA season finishing up, and MLB starting up soon. That being said... there is nothing more exciting to me than the blood bath that will be Fergie/Khabib. Everything else is just passing the time and keeping me occupied

Would rather watch one stacked card a month instead of 2-3 watered down ones... Plus... Is it just me or does it seem like it is taking Forever for the UFC to get here...

Why is called "cards" anyways? Sounds a bit odd to me, I am curious to know the etymology of the word 'fightcard' and sherdog is the be authority on MMA so maybe the answer is here?

UFC 223 will be like a giant fix for MMA junkies.
