Assuming that Floyd hasn't aged too much and still can perform like he used to, Conor's only shot is to hurt Floyd in the early rounds and finish him off. If Floyd gets his timing down, Conor's screwed.

Keep in mind, this will be fought entirely on Floyd's terms. Giant ring, ref who allows excessive clinching, etc. Everything will be stacked in Floyd's favour as much as possible.

It would end just like the Hatton fight if he did.
Conor has 3 punches he throw over and over and really never as a combo. This is fine for mma, but it would get him beat by an amateur in boxing. Add to that that the movement used in boxing is much shorter that in mma, Conor is flat footed (because of kicking) and he doesn't move light and fast on his feet. Again this is not an issue in mma and his movement is great there, but you move that to boxing and he is a walking target for anyone. Floyd would get the TKO via cumulative damage. It's a stupid fight, but one that I would gladly watch.
