I'm just getting into it. Very dark drama. This family is fucked up. It also just got picked up for season 2.

I love this show. Solid 9/10 for me. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3520702/

The acting is really good with Ben Mendelsohn and Kyle Chandler. The slow burn of each episode takes some getting use to, but having the entire season released at once helps it out.

Never seen it but the first review says it's up there with True Detective, Breaking Bad, and Rectify.

I've never seen True Detective, but the other two are some of the best shows ever, so i'll check it out.

It actually reminded me of True Detective. It finished Bloodline two days ago, and it is really good.

I saw it was being given a second season, before the last episode. As it was finishing up, I was like how the fuck they gonna do a second season... But I guess the kid was the one who watched Kev and Jon go to Danny's apt?

Cool, been saving this until after I'm done Rectify... Sounds like my kind of show.

Just watched the trailer; it looks like my kind of show. Thanks for the heads up.

I binged this in 3 days. It's slow at times, but the acting is phenomenal. Ben Mendelsohn is gonna win some awards, hopefully.

Netflix is gold with their shows.

They keep dangling this big secret in front of me with each episode. It had better be worth it.

Looking for some recommendations via Netflix. Much appreciated.

I don't see the True Detective comparisons. To me True Detective is the superior show for sure, the story/acting/originality etc. But Bloodlines is solid for sure. I'd just reiterate its a slowburn. You need to realize that there is no real resolution until the very end, and ultimately the story is about the skeletons in one family's closet. True Detective has more mystery and is more sinister IMO. Plus you have mysticism in that show that Bloodlines doesn't touch on at all.

I'm interested on the direction the show will take for a second season. I guess it will play on the aftermath for the Rayburn family.

Just finished binge watching. Outstanding show. The ending was great too. Sadly, I think it will be overlooked by Mayberry. Definitely recommended. 9/10

To answer your spoiler:

Yes, that's the same kid.

Was considering quitting the show after 4 episodes but it picks up and gets really interesting just after that, definitely recommend it I just have to finish before daredevil releases.

Anyone think that the second season will divulge into some sappy shakespearan tragedy to revenge path with the inclusion of ***Spoiler*** Danny's kid coming into the picture? I sure hope not. There is not reason some 14 year old should ever be able to find out what really happened to his dad if the DEA and Police can't. Seeing his uncles at his dad's apartment doesn't prove anything other than they were "trying to find Danny"....I hope this show doesn't become overly dramatic and something like that POS shows like Revenge/Scandal/etc.

Doesn't really sound that great but it's netflix and they've been doing an amazing job so I'll get it. Plus some shows sound down right stupid (Rectify) and turn out to be amazing.

Was debating watching it. Guess I will now

That first episode took forever. Then the ending happened and me and my wife perked right up. Hopefully it picks up some steam.

two episodes in and so far I think I know how it's going to end.

I hope I'm wrong though because I want to be surprised. Now I'm getting out of this thread in case some dick posts spoilers without spoiler tags.
