JBJ fights at lhw though and is as tall as it gets compared to DC yet stuffed almost all of his takedown attempts. He is just that much better technically plus he has insane core strength which semmy lacks

Not so much about being better technically imo, more about reaction time and center of gravity, since most of Semmy´s opponents, were it in Pancrase or Rings, were actually [quick] MWs or LHWs... He started to fight legit HWs in Pride.

yall don't know about Semmy, this guy was underrated. One of the best K-1 champions of all time. They had to change the rules bc he was too good and no one could beat him

Fairly certain that Schilt would get owned badly be most of the ranked fighters. If he had dedicated time to MMA and TDD then things could have been different, but he never did and he would get tooled by most.

that´s the thing, he did dedicate time to MMA, had some 26 fights in Rings/Pancrase, that´s real dedication for a striker.

And you could see some of his improvements on the ground, in the Yvel fight for instance...

Tough to work on TDD with this type of body, but I see some potentially interesting guard there, though...
