As in every sport, there have always been speculations that the outcome of some events had been planned behind closed doors, especially in the events that shocked the world such as the Diaz win over McG at 196, because the big money from betting come from surprises. I know it's "FUCKING ILLEGAL" but this doesn't mean it doesn't happen. What are your opinions on this topic?

Certainly happens in boxing with relative frequency. You can find 10s of recorded fixed fights on YouTube.

Not so common in MMA because of the almost-monopoly the UFC has. In boxing you have so many independent operators flowing around, shady dealings are rife.

That's a good point. I don't think it's fair though. I think white belts should be allowed to make threads, once they reach a certain amount of likes. Could be 1000. Certainly not under 100.

I don't think people should be allowed to post until they have 10 likes.

I can't remember a UFC fight that looked like a work.

In Bellator, Kimbo-Ken and Tito-Chael looked very questionable.

I think you'd have to be a bit naive to say fight fixing doesn't happen, in fact there was a case recently that proves it does happen.
