The ole clam jam
I actually bought a movie tonight, but it was not a DVD. Bomb City. It is about some bullshit that happened in the late 90s in my hometown. My god was it a terrible movie and waste of $14. Literally had "punks" from Texas in the late 90s calling each other "dog". Fucking dumb.

A lot of the 90s, much like the 80s, were fucking dumb.
Oh it was all very dumb, but the movie was terribly inaccurate. It it a low budget film, but they basically used today's shitty vernacular for events that happened 20 years ago.

I'm thinking of getting an old fun tuner. Dunno what's available around here but a miata, or if I could find a 240sx or rx-7 would be a ton of fun

Never worked on tuners myself much besides the basics. I usually work on older vehicles from the 60s/70s/80s. Parts are easier to find, plus your options for over the top stupid mods are almost limitless if you have some imagination and access to a junkyard. I can see the appeal in tuners though, fun as hell to drive.

whatever floats your boat, amigo.
I love it
in that last fight, the gals went north/south for a while
then they outright scissored.
damn, the UFC thread went wild
good stuff

Ill just watch porn if I want to see that shit.

Video games, D&D, Reading, Working on my trucks. That about sums it up.

Dungeons and Dragons is becoming more and more popular. Kinda crazy. 5 years ago I never saw any posts. Now I see people casually talking about it.

It's popularity is odd, it comes and goes. Lots of people that used to play it are coming out of the woodwork to play again.

Fastest way to turn a ten minute replacement job into an all day project on a motor: snap a fucking bolt off. I fucking hate having to dig bolts out.

Do you have a bolt extractor set?

Do you have an engine lift?

lol, I meant most wives of fighters

THey're about one notch up on cyclists' wives though (myself excluded). As a kid I remember seeing the first wife of a guy I looked up to and thinking, "what troll hiding spot did she crawl out of"? She looked like his old haggard aunt.

His second wife was a complete smoke show from Belgium, and 15 yrs younger.

Yah, but sadly the extractor wasn't doing me any good this time, that fucking bolt would not budge. Ended up drilling a hole almost all the way through, torqued a smaller bolt ino that, welded them together, and then slowly working it back and forth till it finally popped loose.

And technically no, but I have access to equipment that can do it. Why?

You may have fucked the threads. How did you weld it? Did you MIG weld or braze? Temperature matters.

Bolt extractors are always better. Grind the surface of the bolt and use a pointy punch to mark the middle, and start with a small bit working up to the correct size for the bolt extractor. you MUST make that first drilled hole straight. You make that hole crooked and it's fucked.

Used MIG as it was what I had available. Wasn't my first choice but it worked thankfully. If it hadnt I was gonna call in the big guns, aka my father the 50 year mechanic veteran. But that always comes with the price of him mocking me relentlessly for screwing up in the first place.

I dont enjoy it. Even in the (very) occasional good fight, I dont like to watch chicks beat the fuck out of each other.

That might be sexist and offensive to the snowflakes but its the way I feel lol.
Ever since your Ronda started losing you’ve changed your tone on wmma.

MIG welding is every effective but it's high temperature and that is where you can cause damage to the threads.

Good luck. Hope it works out.
