Hope the wife publicly displays my body like this when I die. Put me on the couch in my underwear with empty gatorade bottles and chinese food containers scattered around with an NFL game on tv.

Tahoe is fantastic. Great food at Casinos, swimming in the lake, skiing in winter. Awesome hiking (pic from 20yrs ago).

Well, my dad is showing up tomorrow to visit me for the first time ever since I've been in Cali. Not sure how to entertain him really... I'm really excited to show him the farm though, but I think it might kind of blew his mind. I think that he thinks that I am tinkering around in somebody's closet growing herb lol

Anyway, he wants to get up early and go to the bay on Friday, so anybody with some cool suggestions for a day trip over there... I would appreciate it. My dad doesn't really party at all so i amkind of at a loss on how to entertain him. I know that I want to buy him lunch at Tadiche, but that is all I can figure out so far.

Tadich grill is good for historical significance but it's nothing special in terms of food. Not far from where I used to live. The Embarcadero is kind of cool and you can take the boat to Alcatrez. If you have your car you drive across the GG and drive through Marin Headlands. I think that's pretty cool -- great views of the city and cool to see the bunkers looking for a Japanese attack in WW2.

Lot's of cool neighborhoods to walk around: Russian Hill, the Marina, Nob Hill, Chinatown, North Beach, teh Warf (a little touristy) ... I think it be cool for your dad to see the various neighborhoods which make SF unique.

Hope you guys have a lot fun.

i always wondered when I got up close to Bridgeport (like right near the Bristlecone Pine Forest and other places), who the f owned all the baller ass cabins/houses you see off the 395......

B/c there generally isn't gas stations/stores/people/jack and shit for miles, yet you see all the nice ass what I presume are vacation properties?

There is no shortage of berzerker level wealth.

As my buddy (who is stupidly wealthy himself) once said, "I'm not impressed by rich people -- there's no shortage of people with a lot of money. Show me someone with character. That's not something you run across every day.".

Kevin Anderson is playing the match of his life (at least from the 3rd set on) against Fed right now. Unbelievable shot making. Just going for it on every shot and making the vast majority of them.

Edit: changed name because I keep typing Ryan. Lol

Congrats to Kevin Anderson. Amazing comeback and match. Really hope he doesn't think his work in this tourney is done. Don't want to see him can it up in the semis.

    Lol, same edit.
