A title fight featuring a dominant and exciting champ (and also the last woman to give a severe smashing to Rousey), compared to a middleweight fight featuring two guys who are very unlikely to ever hold the belt at this point.
Kelvin isn't that marketable atm but he could be. Hes not a household name nor does he really stand out in anyway despite having some great performances and victories under his belt.
Plus a title fight will always get more attention. WMMA is hella marketed and it was a brutal finish.
