why does the amanda fight have more views than the gastelum fight highlights?

People wanted to see how fucked up Penington was after the 4th round.

It wasn’t top of the card. Seriously that shit severely sways the publics perception of what the most important fights are.

least threadworthy observation since Eddie Bravo figured out nuclear bombs aint real.

probably because of the controversy with her wanting to quit and the corner.

Because normally a Nunes-Pennington main event would do 500K buys, but through some cosmic accident 415,000 people who would usually watch had pressing engagements and couldn't make it. So they were all rushing to Youtube the next day to get a glimpse of the awesome display of fighting.

all i see on youtube is camel toe yoga videos...

*edit: ...and because of the corner controversy...

Kevin Lee's chicken leg dance is doing better

Also, I think it’s worth stepping back and considering these two fights with less Sherdog-nerd-dickhead glasses;

A title fight featuring a dominant and exciting champ (and also the last woman to give a severe smashing to Rousey), compared to a middleweight fight featuring two guys who are very unlikely to ever hold the belt at this point.

Like it or not Nunes has fans

Better question...how is "Best Chicken Dances" not #1 with like 30 million views?

Kelvin isn't that marketable atm but he could be. Hes not a household name nor does he really stand out in anyway despite having some great performances and victories under his belt.

Plus a title fight will always get more attention. WMMA is hella marketed and it was a brutal finish.
