Saudi Student beaten to death in Wisconsin college town

A Saudi student at the University of Wisconsin Stout in Menomonie was severely beaten and died of his injuries. It happened at 2am Sunday October 30th. There were plenty of witnesses on the street who saw a white male about 6 feet tall beating him but nobody has identified him and the perpetrator hasn't come forward. The police say they are treating it as a homicide and apparently warned witnesses not to discuss the incident with anyone including the media.I live about 20 miles from where this happened.

A few years ago at the same school, 2 hockey players attacked a student riding a bicycle knocking him into a concrete retaining wall. He also died from his injuries. In that incident, the student had told staff at the bar that several people were after him and they let him leave via a back door. The two men saw him getting his bike and they caught him before he could get away.

The fact that no one tried to stop it before the guy got beat to death makes me think the witnesses were friends of the perp. And that would probably be why no one is cooperating.
