Samsung Showed Their Standalone 4K VR Headset For First Time

It does not require a computer and has inside out tracking and very likely augmented reality. It has a 4K 75hz OLED display.

It can run games at 2560 × 1440 at 90hz they claim using patented display technology.

Rumored the CPU runs at 2.5 Ghz to 3 Ghz and a 1 TO 1.5 Ghz GPU. They plan on having A++ game titles.

I hear it will cost well north of 1 grand but could have cell phone functions. You may be able to buy it with a cellphone plan. Ether way not a toy purchase and serious money.

But would more likely for that money buy a hololens or Magic Leap rumored to be shown at the end of September.
