One of the fights that was announced the other night, didn't see a thread on it. Pretty interesting matchup, Alvey looking to continue his streak while Leites needs a win to rebound. Who you got?

Given how boring most of his fights are, I'm surprised the UFC gives Alvey so many fights.

Anyway, Alvey gets dominated or lands a bomb. Same as in all his fights for the most part.

I think Leites will submit Alvey pretty easily

Sam needs to let loose and throw some bombs instead of dancing around. Time to get serious Smilin' Sam!

This is going to be a sloppy boxing match. I don't think Leites will be able to land an easy take down on Alvey.

Sam looked like shit his last few fights but he still won. Against Marquardt he literally did nothing until the last few seconds of each round.

Meh fight, Leites by sub or 3 rounds of grapplefuck while Alvey tries to readjust his retarded oversized mouthpiece.

Alvey either wins a decision, or gets subbed. If he manages to keep it on the feet he'll probably have an easy time tbh, Leites was getting the shit beat out of him on the feet by Boetsch iirc.

Depends how motivated Leites is. Sometimes he just shows up and does nothing. Got him winning by decision tho

I like Smilin' Sam. Good guy.

Some part of me thinks his fights are very exciting.

But in reality....he's one of the most boring fighters on the roster.

Alvey is going for the record. If this fight goes down, he'll be one of the only fighters in UFC history to have six fights in a calendar year.

    Elias Theodorou - 6/18/16 - UD loss
    Eric Spidely - 7/13/16 - Sub win
    Kevin Casey - 8/27/16 - TKO win
    Alex Nicholson - 11/5/16 - UD win
    Nate Marquardt - 1/28/17 - UD win
    Thales Leites - 4/22/17 - ?

Magny was almost the first, as he had five fights from 2/1/14 to 2/1/15 - his bout that would have put him over the top was two weeks later, on 2/14/15.

Cerrone had 6 from 1/25/14 to 1/25/15, thanks to his two fights in January 2015, on the 3rd and 18th against Jury and Bendo.

Alvey is so annoying but he's damn busy isn't he, at least.

    Leites via smothering UD.

Leites should win. He's getting older than and that gives Sam a chance to keep this going.

Sam will get subbed. Too bad, cos I look forward to his weird victory speeches.
