Hey guys

I have both the Tide and the New Carnivale. The colors on the Carnivale really stand out against the white crystal weave. I washed it to shrink and fit and out of the dryer it was perfect. The fabric is smooth and soft. The stitching is top quality and the felt seam tape ensures two things: 1. This gi will never fall apart and 2. the most comfortable gi in the world!! Not to big and not too small. The roots gi cut is perfect. The price point is not only fair, but I would actually pay more for this gi. I have eight top quality gis in my rotation and the Tide and Carnivale are what I always reach for. Be advised, Roots is not some fly by night new company, I only see the Roots wave getting bigger and bigger. Get your hands on one of these gis and you will be waiting anxiously for the next Roots Gi Drop. BTW keep an eye out for the Roots New York gi, it is a limited edition and if you think the Carnivale kicked it up a notch, take a look at the New York gi on the Roots facebook page!!!

Nice gi and review. I like soft gi's. Most are really rough so I can appreciate something different.
