It's a little like saying you're all a bunch a' bums. If that true A-level athlete walked into the sport he'd fuck you all up.
Why? Just because he's athletic and good at basketball? Joe, as a fighter himself, should be a little more judgemental.

I myself am not a fighter but I have been following the sport long enough to know that athleticism is only a part of what these mofos bring to the table. I've seen tons of athletic fighters not being successfull. Look at Sage for example, an athletic freak yes, but his athleticism does not make him a great fighter (yet) because he's lacking overall MMA skills, understanding of the game etc.

Not hating on Joe cause I know he gets emotional about big muscular men, especially if black and supposedely packing a big one. He's one of the biggest Ngannou nuthuggers and I believe he'd be very keen on being pleasured by him lol.

This is to the athletes who actually ARE FIGHTERS, to their strive and their skills

    Yep. It's also absurd.

It's like saying that baseball players better be glad that Michael Jordan plays basketball.

Rogan likes his big black muscular men a little more than the rest of us. Just a little though

LeBron is arguably the most naturally gifted athlete of all time. That + his worth ethic; he has become one of the best basketball players to ever play the game out of the MILLIONS of people to ever play basketball.

He's not out of line in the slightest.

you talk publicly for 3 hours a day, keep it interesting, and not say something that someone will take offense to.

he doesn't offend me. how some sherdoggers take every fucking little utterance of his so seriously (like this thread) offends my sensibilities though.

Is it? A B level athlete like Ngannou is waltzing his way to a UFC belt with no prior combat experience.

The level of still and experience required in baseball is light-years above MMA.

    And I fucking hate baseball.

Brock Lesnar looked like a God when he came into the UFC
Yes, he is. How do we know LeBron can take a punch?

Brock Lesnar looked a like a cross between a white Hulk and Hercules when he came into MMA. And he even was great at a fighting discipline (wrestling) that plays an important part in MMA.

But the man couldn't take a punch. And so his reign was brief. And he looked completely overmatched - even silly - when facing Cain.

I wonder how Stipe or Francis will react when they meet him the next time. He basically said they are only where they are because they got lucky Lebron chose another sport. Don't forget that Joe considers himself an expert.

    No, it's not.

Look at all the great wrestlers who have struggled to make the transition to MMA.

There are numerous skills in MMA and they are not easy to attain. What's more, you need an uncommon physical toughness that most athletes don't have. You almost need seared nerve endings.

You need to play baseball at a high level since you were like 5 just to hope to make it to the majors.

You can join the UFC with a couple of regional fights and a blue belt.

I don't know about that but at least it gave us a 20 page thread where people said that Lebron would beat a Zdeno Chara or Dustin Byfuglien

And let's not forget mental toughness. Which is what most pansies today lack.

Which is why they wish it all was down to "athleticism". It's about grit, pain tolerance, gameness, and human "selection" today is running towards the other end of the spectrum.

AGREE. People forget that Lebron came out of high school at 18 years old playing with Adults.

People with the skills and work ethic to be the best fighters aren't gonna fight for a 10k
