How would Rocky Balboa have done if he were a real life boxer?
Considering he never blocked anything except for with his head probably not good
He was 57-23-1 so realistically he could win a title or maybe even a legitimate championship but would get outboxed at hte highest level more often than not
What about the Rocky that showed up for the Clubber Lang rematch? He was moving pretty slick that night.
What you gotta worry about is if Rocky fights you in your backyard and leads with that inspiring speech he closed Rocky IV with. If he leads with that, the whole arena and the judges will be in his back pocket. We all know Rocky always goes the distance, so you'll get screwed on the cards.
See now the Rocky that showed up on that night? Ho-ly shit that Rocky would've been hell for any ATG that night win or lose. Took everything a PED-enhanced Ivan Drago threw at him and just wouldn't stop. Dude was a fucking juggernaut that night.
and this well
And this well
You realise rocky was modelled after a real boxer..mixed with some hollywood fairy tale and theatrics but everyone who posted the Chuck Wepner knows the truth lol..
Balboa against Scrap Iron Ryan would be a PPV affair.
joe frazier says that stallone had interviewed him and other boxers for a part in the movie but he thought he was really mining boxers for ideas and he got them, joe worked in a meat shop and ran the steps to the whatever monument that was in philly, he got a bit part in the movie though, in his opinion sly was just using the boxers.
Stallone tried putting wapner in the actual movie but used Thunder Lips instead
Sergei Provodnikov is real-life Rocky.
Gatti is closer to Rocky than Wepner, besides the weight difference
Rocky only blocked shots with his face. So pretty badly.
