Media Rob Whittaker: I'm going in with bad intentions, to finish Paulo early and really hurt him

Who steps in for Costa?
Israel won't against an opponent he has already beat.
Cannonier would probably take the fight? Not much to gain for Rob though.
Allen would definately have taken that step up, but has a high profile fight against Vetorri booked soon anyway.
Vetorri - above.
Dolidze v Imavov is happening this weekend, unless one gets a 60 second finish can't see that happening.
Khamzat - has spoken fighting 7 guys across 3 weight classes without actually taking a fight, won't happen (but would be a worthwhile fight, even though I think Whittaker wins easy).
Hermansson - has a fight booked against Pyfer in 2 weeks, and would be way too big a step up anyway.

That's pretty much the top 10-12 at 185 and don't see any of them happening except perhaps Cannonier.

Maybe Usman but I feel like he should take a winnable fight at this point against a borderline top 10 guy if he is going to fight at MW.

Like all of us! No? (No Homer)

Excuse me but Yushin Okami was never a big MW.

- Fought the bigger Rich Franklin as a lanky 6'2" who barely cut weight for 185:

- Weighted-in at soft 200lbs with clothes on for a week-notice bout vs OSP at LHW

Barely above average sized WW in modern day
A below average sized MW by today standards.
A tiny MW by Pereira's standards.
