Melvin is tentatively scheduled to fight in the international trials group B in April.

Albert Cheng admits he should have tried harder for a finish, but not happy with the ref or judges in the bout. For those who watched the fight, what do you think?



Myself, I can kind of see both sides of the argument. I definitely saw more blue and yellow cards given out for this past event than I have in other recent events, but I can certainly see where the ref felt justified in penalizing him for inactivity. For a bit of the fight, he seemed like he wanted to neither engage, nor counter. As for the 2nd low blow, they happen, usually accident, but that was also his second of the fight.

The inactivity/stalling calls will always be subjective and controversial, I don't see how he can complain about being deducted for landing multiple low blows though. The illegal shots clearly affected the fight, he's just coming off as a sore loser.
