Rizin plans to do a 16-men Openweight Tournament .

Confirmed:
Cro Cop, Wandy
Fujita vs Kaito (sumo) - first fight

Whom would you like to see from the possible participant fighters?

I would like to see something like this (even if some are underweight):

Fujita vs Kaito
Fedor vs Wandy
Aoki (small guy) vs Nick Diaz
Askren vs Magalhães
Cro Cop vs Rampage
Maldonado vs Cung Le
Ishii vs Daniel Ghita (kickboxing)
Motaz Abdelsalam (2015 sanda HW kung fu champ) vs Enes Erkan (2015 karate HW world champ)

I dont know if would be the representative for Eagle FC (either they have gym links), but Ion Pascu would be a nice fighter on the card.
 
Fedor wont be in the tournament. Mirko said so....he said that Fedor is calculating too much these days and that its too risky for Fedor to participate in the grand prix....
 
Mirko is getting a pass on the 1st round as well as Wand.

What tournament are Aerts and JLB part of? Some other JMMA organisation? Would have been great to have them as part of the Rizin GP.

Also since its openweight where is Minowaman!!!
 
Baruto vs Minowa would be interesting
what about the giant killer vs a giant that CAN fight?

They're in the Road FC tournament, taking place in S. Korea and China.

Hell, I'll even take Ivanov vs Bob fucking Sapp. Why the hell haven't the WSOF put him in there!?!?!? With Ivanov's heart, he has a real shot at winning the tournament.

That's a real disappointment, Asian MMA companies need to work togeather... even for a massive NYE event, I really miss them and Dream did them well. JLB and Aerts would fit in to this tournament so well. Whos in Road FC tournament, cant find a list of names.

Looking forward to this all the same, Wand and Crocop in a tournament is a massive deal already. Hope they find a few more good names.

Why should a well established show that is broadening it's base like Road FC work with a show like Rizin, that has shown us nothing yet? Road FC is going places on their own, they don't need to worry about a show like Rizin.

ROAD does work with RIZIN, they sent Soo Chul Kim to the first event. They announced their GP long before RIZIN announced theirs and at this point RIZIN needs them more than ROAD needs RIZIN
