Yahoo Answers used to be very popular before they changed the layout.

I had an account for whenever I needed a question answered. I usually had to ask the question 2 to 3 times, as it'd get drowned out by all the other questions being asked on the section. Now you're lucky to see two questions an hour on most sections.

Yahoo Chat was my discovery of webcams.
