Ok, hope they will never do this in MMA / combat sports. However, in Formula 1 they want to forbid flag girls because its not politically correct.

Did somebody suggested this for the ring girls?

Yes, but only for Thailand and Brazil shows.

If you have to choose who will be the ring boy between:

Francis Ngannou
Luke Rockhold
Derrick Lewis
Conor McGregor

Who would you choose?

Its part of the atmosphere,, that's like having a guy serve you wings at Hooters.. WTH,,, NO..........

It's the decent thing to do. Why the fuck wouldn't you have ring boys?

We've got girls/women fighting, that's the first level. Next level is ring boys. There's literally no reason to not have them, if you're a fan of gender equality.

OR, and that's even better: Just drop the fucking ring girls, cheerleaders and so on. Who cares about them?

That ridiculous.

If you go to those car shows, they'll still have chicks, who are usually also escort girls, right next to the car.

I have one better, why not be really equal and do man vs women fights.

Let's start with that.

Women have been oppressed for far too long. They need to be treated equally.

Rockhold would be perfect for this sort of work, good career move.

The Polish promotion LFN already employ ring boys. No thanks.

Nah. See, men have certain advantages when it comes to physical strength that would make a fight unfair.

Men, however, could easily be parading between rounds, showing off their body.

it's the future

Can you imagine? That would be amazing. I despise the white knight and feminist crap going on but always hated ring girls, I ironically believe it's stupid ans sexist . Lol

They should make the ring girls clothing transparent when special glasses are worn.

Then sale the glasses for $99.95.

"Gender equality" is not some kind of catch-all that means men and women can (or should) fill all roles equally, particularly when you're producing content that caters to a specific audience. Should Victoria's Secret have to stock men's underwear because of "gender equality"? Or is it pretty well understood that their primary consumers are women, so they offer a product only women wear? Similarly, there is no market segment of the UFC, or MMA in general, that is large enough and specific enough for such a promotion to gain any benefit from employing ring boys, regardless of what you say about "gender equality." If the genders aren't represented equally in the consumers, there's no reason for them to be represented equally in the promotion.
