In short it's super good.
The DVD is mainly about preventing your guard from being passed and finishes to the kiss of the dragon (Mikey enters it of defending the Toreando pass)
The instruction is concise and to the point.
Mikey addresses a bunch of common pass variants in detail.
There is a heavy focus on what is the main thing you need to do to stop the pass or accomplish something.
It's concept focused in a "The power is coming from his left shoulder. Block it with your arm and reinforce it with your leg way" rather then "Let me reinforce the absolute supremacy of the side control avoidance principle."
The whole block the body part he is putting his power in concept rather then push him away with brute force is pretty cool.
To be fair haven't put in in my game yet as I have been sick.
I haven't watch the kiss of the dragon section that closely but the guard control section is what I have been waiting for as someone transitioning away from being a half guard player.
Use for pure no-gi players will be limited (they might use some concepts or a few of the moves) but even the whole on your back style sucks in no-gi.
