My issue is really that I don't want unwanted babies weighing on the system. They're parents don't want them so they're probably going to be raised poorly and grow up to be shitty mouth breathers.

This. An unwanted child is a recipe for disaster. You can bet on abuse happening with the child ending up damaged and/or a huge piece of shit.
