Report: UFC 161 & 163 Ratings Flop, Do Under 200k PPV Buys

If you are an expert enlighten us on how expensive it is. What are the exact costs and did they break even or not. And who cares if a giant company like UFC has a bad day or two? Pull a fight such as Maia vs Koscheck and don't replace it with anything and the card isn't going to sell. Very simple.

The issue isn't who is right or wrong when it comes to the costs of a UFC event (which was actually just broken down in a mma media outlet a few weeks ago), the issue is its all speculation so who gives a flying fuck?

UFC is Dying.

PPV isn't the future. They need to slowly make changes in their business model.

Do you realize how many people have to be paid to do one of these events? You're talking about 100's of people, staff, etc that require a healthy salary to do their jobs. The UFC also does not receive 100% of the PPV fee, they receive a small percentage and the cable companies get the rest.

Some of you have no clue how expensive it is to put on one of these events. At 200K buys, I'd be willing to bet they barely broke even.

Actually the UFC get about half of ppv money. Definitely not a small percentage. Don't worry, the UFC business model is VERY profitable.

Not a massive surprise. Jose doesn't get the kind of love he should.

Pay attention...Zuffa is way ahead of you. They're smarter too.
