I like Moicano here if he can finishes his combos with low kicks. I think the boxing is about even. Im not sure Moicano can take him down but if He does I like his chances. He looked very good against Stephens & in defeat vs Ortega.

Like Jones vs Bader at the time when both were undefeated and great prospects. After that fight we were able to see the 2 were on very different levels.

Are you joking? Elkins is on 6 fight winstreak in UFC and top 15 fighter, when Zabit is 2-0 and combined UFC record of his opponents is 0-3. It's even more crazier matchmaking than Whittaker-Akhmedov or Masvidal-CM Punk.

Zabit is free to fight April 7. He's struggling to find an opponent. If Elkins thinks he can derail the hypetrain then why not?

How is this remotely a joke to you?

And his opponents are 0-3 because 1 of them just made his DEBUT last fight. And both of them lost to Zabit, duh! Hence, the 0-2 (cause Zabit beat them!). Fuck off if you're going to pull that sneaky slimey math shit.

Elkins last opponent MJ wasn't even ranked at FW either, and was 0-2 even before facing Elkins. His opponent before that Bermudez is now 0-3. So you can pull this bullshit with Zabit, but you won't mention that will ya? Selective memory, or just being a retard?

Moicano's combos are legit. I think he wins this fight handily.

Zabit is struggling, not Elkins. Elkins is on 6 win streak, he deserves a top 5 opponent, not someone not ranked, this is a high risk low reward fight for him, ofc this doesn't make sense lol a fight has to make sense for both sides

He's usually a pretty smart fighter, so i expect to see him test Kattar's take down defense in this fight.

    Good match up.

I don't know if he "deserves" a top 5 opponent. His last 2 opponents are on losing streaks. If he can get a Top 5 that's great for him. Otherwise, there is absolutely nothing to suggest Zabit is a joke. He had no problem taking unranked MJ after all.

There's a lot of users who've suggested if Zabit can't get a ranked guy from the Top 15, they should give him someone higher. Hence, why i think Elkins makes a good opponent. Its the one that's realistic.

You have no clue what you’re looking at or you haven’t seen the fights. He has some of the slickest and fastest hands in the UFC and is a fighter who shows improvement every fight. His combos and angles are actually technical beauty, he’s also very long for the division. He would have won against Ortega but shot in very late in the 3rd with the fight already in the bag....probably not expecting Ortega to have such a crazy squeeze being a BJJ black belt himself and just put a stamp on the fight....come to find out Ortega’s squeeze is another level unfortunately for him

Before that he picked apart Jeremey Stephens (was 2-1 one judge had a trash card)

    This is a crazy fight

He's going to be shooting a lot more against kattar. This will be a good all around test for Kattar.

You don't? Ok, i do, he does. Isn't about his 2 last opponents, is about his 6 wins in a row.

MJ was ranked in another weight class, a more stacked division. Not the same.

Elkins-Magomedsharipov is not a realistic match up, you don't match a top 10 with 6 win streak against a unranked guy 2-0 in UFC, please, if you really think like that you don't know how UFC matchmaking works, this is absurd, 1 win and Elkins will be in titleshot talks, Zabit just got into UFC, they shouldn't be in the same conversation.

    Kattar for sure.

Not a fan of Moicano after he ran and refused to engage with Stephens to point fight his way to a SD.

    YES!

Love this fight. Huge fan of Moicano.
Kattar has no chance, I like him, but his striking is nowhere close to Moicano.
