Remember when Ronda said she could beat Floyd...

I remember when Ronda could beat anybody. Then she tried to box. Didn't go well.
She tried to take down Holly, mostly failed, couldn't hold Holly down, couldn't submit her with her armbar attempt, actually got taken down by Holly after Holly got rocked by Ronda. The fact is, judo is not as good a base for MMA as wrestling is. Male MMA has shown that time and time again. Ronda capitalized off of the fact that the talent level in WMMA was like male MMA when Royce was tapping n00bs left and right with basic BJJ.

As soon as the game evolved, she was fucked like Royce was fucked. She wasn't an all-time great, especially not a once ever like Brogan embarrassingly claimed, she was simply a pioneer. So it really wasn't about her thinking she was a boxer. It was about her being a one-dimensional fighter who struggled when she couldn't get to the clinch to throw and was facing an actual striker who understood space, defense, counters, etc. If Ronda had gone out against Holly and just tried to spam take downs, she still would have got wrecked.

...while some canklehuggers were backing her up, well...Conor vs Floyd has significant similarities.

Conor is the ugly face of the UFC just like she was. (fucking barf)

Conor (like Ronda) believes his own hype.

Conor (like Ronda) has a creepy fixation on Floyd...; they both take HIS success personally...as if it negatively affects them.

Conor (like Ronda) talks shit to the Nth degree without any style, wit or charm. Like Trump, they do (or...did) a great job of appealing to their base. (again...barf)

And now, the jump from the UFC to boxing is actually gonna happen, (I totally said it would NOT...((in an old thread)) because it should NOT, but that's another story) and...like Ronda before him, it's possible that Conor is going to retire.

Now, am I proclaiming that he will...no, but it may.

On the bright-side, Conor is NOT bigger than the UFC, nor was Ronda.

Ronda is gone, and guess what...the UFC moved on, and now the women's division is stronger than it once was, (for what that's worth) and when Conor exits stage left, the UFC will move the fuck on again.

So thank you Conor for chasing a huge payday as it maaay serve to expedite your EXIT from the UFC.

...or maybe he'll be humbled by Floyd and return to the UFC and defend defend defend his belt as he's done so many times.

Who knows.
She can if the fight started on the ground. Conor is the reason the UFC sold for 4 Billion along with R3. You are hater and I hope that finally put a roof above your hut.

WTF. Ronda is not all time great? She is the reason there is WMMA in the UFC. Otherwise you would be watching JJ in a Indian casino parking lot in Biloxi.

She's an all-time great in the sense that the best basketball players from the 40s and 50s are considered all-time greats, but there were only 8 teams in the league at the time compared to 32 today, A LOT less black players, no free agency, etc. They were more pioneers who can't compare to the stars from the 80s/90s and today. Guys like Randy or Chuck were more impressive because they were able to hang around and beat younger guys and their games evolved. Ronda never evolved and now she's given up. Randy and Chuck took hard losses and came back as champs.

RONDA COULDN'T BEAT A 130LB GIRL
YOU THINK SHE CAN FUCK UP FLOYD? A MAN?

BRUH

I don't know, man. All Ronda needs to do is shoot a low single and get a hold of his ankle and it's basically over. Floyd can definitely KO her on her way in but Floyd has no idea what to do once he's on his back.

Yeah...

"Participants, get on your knees and touch gloves."

Get outta here.

Good on Conor for making $$$

Bad on Conor for selling his soul to Floyd.

But hey...to each their own.

Also, Conor looks like a bum.

Yeah... like... some people out there would take a $100,000,000 payday... and then there are others, like you, who would sooooo not take that $100,000,000 payday. Amirite?

To each their own.

I'm sorry for fucking break it to you man, but money DOES NOT BUY HAPPINESS.

That said, $$$$$$ may augment ones natural personality traits, but...most people are unhappy, so.........

The difference between the two is that Conor didn't crawl into a corner and sulk after he lost. He trained harder and avenged his loss to Diaz in a rematch just five months later. Then he destroyed Eddie Alvarez a few months after that to become a two-weight champion. Ronda divulged into a year's worth of woe-is-me and when she finally did crawl out of her hole to fight again, she got destroyed even quicker by an entirely different opponent.

There are clear distinct differences in how the two handle their business, so don't be surprised if the next difference is Conor defeating Floyd, unlike how Ronda would have ever been able to do.

Ronda can only do clinch takedowns. She is not gonna clinch Floyd without being KOd.

If she learned a double leg then we could start talking about something happening, maybe.

And nevertheless... I don't know of a single person, besides perhaps yourself, who would turn down a $100,000,000 payday for a single fight, so s/he could instead fight several times for much less and at a much greater risk.

So, yeah. Money doesn't buy happiness... but you figure brain damage is the answer; maybe brain damage will buy happiness!

I never said I would turn it down.

I merely stated that in context with Conor...it is a JOKE fight.

And why did I say that...because I'm not stupid.

It's pure freak-show; anyone who claims otherwise needs to check themselves.

Of course it's a freak show. But it's really hard to blame anyone involved for being involved. It's big money. No one's gonna turn that kind of opportunity down.

After.

She never really said she could people would just ask her to get a headline, and she would refuse to say anyone could beat her. Even Cain Velasquez, She knows she couldn't beat Cain but fuck if she is gonna say she can't.

While Rhonda would lose to most normal sized men, she would wreck Little Floyd in an MMA bout.
