If you didn't recognize all that as hype, you're a moron. I picked Stipe from the beginning but Ngannou is new to this. If he works on his cardio and wrestling, he's a disaster waiting to happen for most at hw. It wasn't that long ago that Stipe got ko'd by Struve. I doubt that fight would have the same outcome if they fought again.

People evolve and learn. Ngannou took his shot and missed, but he showed that he has all the intagibles that make a great fighter...heart, chin, legit ko power. He was gassed after the first round and still made it to the final bell. People forget what a beast Stipe is that discredit Ngannou. Stipe has a murderer's row of other top hw's that didn't make it out of the first round, or make it to the final bell.

Ngannou was overhyped, but if he learns from what happened he'll be extremely tough to beat.
