I can verify that I am ignoring this matchup, but not for reasons implied here.

I'm ignoring it because it seems like this fight will never happen, no matter how hard they try to make it happen. I'm done being hyped for it, just to be disappointed in the end.

I think there's fewer fans ignoring Tony and more UFC staff and media outlets that are ignoring the match up.

Khabib fans have wanted to see this fight for years, man. Of course they want to see it.

The problems are that the match is getting less attention than the fact that Conor lost again, the brawl and there is still a lot left unsettled with the NSAC. That's more interesting and controversial right not, from all fans.

Once those things are cleared up, I'm certain that MMA fans and media in general will be talking about Khabib v T-Ferg.
