What is the injury?
remember when every close(even not that close) fights were given extra round in old K-1
The new K-1 is doing basically the opposite lol,not a single freaking extra round
Mohan Dragon is like mini Bob Sapp. Pure wild striking, zero technique. Perfect meme fighter.
Dude just went rock em sock em robot for 3 fights.
Mohan Dragon is awesome. He will get revenge against Kubo one day. Wasn't Kaew supposed to fight Yamazaki on this card?
Right shoulder I think
all the last K-1 event already uploaded on the K1-KRUSH channel
damn fast, finally they are uploading it fast
Does anyone know if Melsik and Mohan are locked down in K-1 exclusive contracts? Like if Glory wanted to put one of them on an event would K-1 be able to block it?
I believe the contracts foreign fighters sign with K-1 is that they can fight anywhere they want outside of Japan, but aren't allowed to do so without permission within Japan.
Melsik is probably fine. Mohan is probably counted as a Japanese fighter since he's based out of there
Sidenote: Back in 2015, RISE tried to troll K-1 by booking Hachim Hamech (who fought Takeru) vs Tenshin immediately, but got contract blocked
K-1 Japan is holding a surprise event on Dec 27. K-1 Survival Wars 2017 in Korakuen Hall. Like the last Survival Wars with Minoru vs Hiramoto, expect to see it filled with titleshot eliminator type bouts
Was Takerus decision controversial? Bunch of dislikes by japanese fans.
I thought it was fine. Would have preferred an extension, but I see the argument for Takeru maybe taking a round, whereas I don't really see Wang winning any round. Chinese fans maybe not so much.
Japanese fans always comment hate when Takeru is involved though. Tenshin fanboys.
Who are the most popular fighters in Japan now?
K-1 just posted its 9/18 event for free on youtube:
Probably Tenshin. Even if he has a lackluster performance, there will be like dozen people defending them him within a minute.
Tenshin has the most fight fans hyping him, Takeru has the most media exposure and Noiri/Urabe remain nobodies because there is no fairness in this world
watched the whole event finally
the tournament was far from the usual K-1 level but had some good moments
I have to admit that im feeling bad for Kimura,i dont liked him in the past for all the cockiness and limited game but damn, after that brutal 1R KO loss his career became the new definition of downhill
dude was on the Highlights of his career after his controversial win over Kaew, all the following on him since the Krush days with his do or die fights, and then Kaew finished everything followed by Noiri cementing the grave
-Takeru vs Wang Junguang i had takeru by a slight advantage but it should go to an extra round
-Stavros messing up Taiga in the first round was amazing,Stavros is a good prospect and already had some solid fights but no way in hell i picked him to win it,especially the way he went as a beatdown in the very first roun...Mejiro Bless
-Hinata made the homework and the other fights were no suprise at all, except for a guy like Mohan Dragon making it into the final
I didn't have a problem with the Takeru decision but it should have gone to a 4th imo. The chinese fighter did well, Takeru had problems dealing with his teep kicks.
I'd like to see Stavros fight the Urabe bros.
I don't think Hirotaka wants to die.
1. Andy Souwer vs Nishio Wicky in RIZIN (MMA) for god knows why
2. Some additions for the Krush82 card (Nov 5) featuring Terado defending his 55kg title vs Luigi Kubo
- Gonnapar WSR vs Hayashi Kenta
- Rukiya vs Kyoshiro
- Degai Taisuke vs Kaneko Akihiro
Rukiya is NOT AMUSED by the fact that he has been passed up for a title shot or for a slot in K-1
