Sittichai was outclassing the other guy but he didn't really hurt him at any point. He rarely looks as dominant as Buakaw, Yod, Superbon etc

That's just Sittichai's style and not all those fighters you mentioned dominate every opponent. Sometimes you get an opponent in there that you outclass but he's tough. Sittichai has also had much harder match ups under kickboxing than the other top Thai's. I think Marat could KO superbon and that's the downfall of having a more aggressive and dominant style when you go up against powerful fighters. Sittichai has very controlled aggression which may not look as dominant against lesser opponents.
 
Also Hasan Toy has only had 4 losses so it could be one of those situations where he is a lot better and more tricky then we think. Similar to fighters like Artem Pashporin.

You're being a half empty glass guy. I tend to be a little more optimistic until I see consistency. Like Pacquiao's fight last weekend. He struggled against an opponent who was supposed to be an easy fight but maybe he's better than most think.

Towards sittichai. Not sitsongpeenong because sittichai has been consistently successful in kb so how can you not be optimistic. If this was Kem I wouldn't be as optimistic.

I know. Looks like his team have been working a lot on producing more power but I guess theres a limit. You're either born with it or not.

that's the problem..he looked ok but that's all,that's why he can forget about becoming "the next buakaw",he's 10 steps behind...in everything.

i'd rather see bon get ko the fuck out by grigorian than one more sittichai controlled boredom.

bon was knocked out by sittichai and i saw no downfall after that...if anything made his rematch win more interesting....something sittichai will never do,that's why he's trying his best buakaw impression with wlf now...he himself knows it.

I don't think anyone should try and be "the next Buakaw". They should be themselves. Sittichai has a different style to Buakaw. He has more slow twitch muscles so going out of what's natural to him and trying to be Buakaw could get him in trouble.

I'm surprised you're calling it boring and cant seem to differentiate between effectiveness and entertainment. That's the type of thing casual fans do and I never took you for a casual. People used to say Petrosyan was boring but real fight fans can appreciate aggressive fighters and more defensive fighters. But if you don't like it don't watch him. You're not going to accomplish anything by complaining.

well tell that to sittichiai or whoever is advising him now...career-wise.

why do you assume i can't grasp the difference just because i don't see anything THAT exciting about him compared to plenty of other fighters?so categoric. if you live for results only that's fine but...
i like to see passion and heart in sport as well not just mere results,after all it's what sport is supposed to be.

I thought Sittichai fought as expected, he's always had a fairly meat and potatoes style. He also has the one of busiest schedules in kickboxing right now, can't expect him to go ham against a mid tier fighter like Hassan Toy when he can just pick him apart safely.

Was his 2nd fight this year? I mean yeah he'll do up to 3 more fights within 4 months but just fellow tournament fighter Allazov for example been much more busier.
 
Sittichai's fight style is about as exciting as his personality...
 
Everyone can enjoy exciting movies with loads of action and explosions but not everyone can and appreciate books like "The Art of War" for the tactics and effectiveness of it.

Everyone can enjoy action fighters like Tyson, Pacquiao and Pornsaneh but not everyone can appreciate effective thinkers like Mayweather, Rigondeaux and Panpayak.
 
meh! I thought sittichai was much more exciting and aggressive than usual. It did not help that hassan just flailed around that huge ass ring and avoided the fight.

im looking forward to watch it but i cant find :(
