With 12 official fights, it looks like The UFC's 25th Anniversary Fight Night event is complete give or take a prelim or so. Please keep in mind that the bout order for this event is not official, the one above is purely for the sake of the thread. With that being said, what do you guys think of this event? Hard to go wrong with a Main and Co-Main like this. Other than that? Maybe a bit underwhelming in terms of name power, but I actually really like this event. The prelims are filled with TUF/DWTNCS that seemed very promising and are looking to get that first UFC win under their belts and I think we'll see some awesome finishes. Also I think Ricky Simon vs. Ricardo Ramos has potential for absolute fireworks. Other than the Main/Co-Main, the fight I'm most excited for is Luis Pena vs. Mike Trizano.

If I had to rate this card, I give it a 7-7.5/10. I like it and could possibly be pushed to an 8 with a late addition of a better third billed fight. What do you guys think?

Judging just the main card, and factoring in it being free, got to give it an 8.

Only watching last 3 fights maybe last 2

Those 2 fights alone are going to be 10/10 on paper

KZ vs Edgar will be FOTY

    Overall 7/10

7.5 for it being a Fight Night. Not spectacular but still has some decent names and match ups.

6/10, in the WME era that’s about as good as it gets for a FS1 card. Will watch.

7/10 but 8/10 if they use the original UFC matting aswell since they are going with the old theme. I think that would be awesome.

Man, this isn't one where I like most of the fighters. I like Cerrone and Edgar and probably it. I'd say a 4/10 5/10 if best. Get Germaine Jackson out of there and Chris Gutzenmacher or whatever his name is, Chris Guttenburg, I don' really mess with him either.. Just shows you how much Dariush has fell off. Shiiett.

Throw in groin strikes and headbutts and it’s 10/10

It's a FN but the expectations are higher since it's the 25th anniversary FN. Pretty decent, I'll give it a 7. Forgot GDR is back.

6/10 on paper only because it falls off a cliff for me after the Dariush fight. Doesn't mean the fights wont be good tho

I did expect maybe 1 more matchup between top 15 ranked fighters considering this is the 25th anniversary event. Although I can't say I'm surprised considering the UFC always packs the holiday / end of year schedule.

5/10, not too bad for a fight-night. Awesome main-event, also Simon vs Ramos is a great fight.

Really hate the Dariush vs Gruetzemacher match-up for numerous reasons.

Gruetzmacher isn't that bad tho. IIRC he beat the shit out of lauzon in his last fight. Jlau is shot but still, he demolished him. Dariush should take it tho

Chris Greutzmacher is a lot better than he's shown in his UFC tenure. He did beat the shit out of Lauzon. Although most discount that win because Lauzon is shot as hell. I think he has a shot at surprising some people here. Dariush is chinny as hell.

Yeah it would be nice if they added one more, a guy like Jeremy Stephens would be a good fit for a card like this. If it isn't a top 15 then maybe long-standing UFC guys like Jim Miller on a quick turnaround or Joe Lauzon. Or if the stars aligned Miller vs Lauzon 3.
