Mcdyess was on his way before his knee screwed him. The dude would jump 40 inches just from a hakeem pump fake.

He'd have a championship if not for this debacle.

Game 5 cheating for Kings was worse. Game 7 the better team won.

He would be viewed completely different if he led the Kings to a ring that year.

Duncan will be first on this list for the next 100 years imo. Maybe Anthony DAvis will be a great player he has potential but other than that idk from this generation.

#2 is Barkley to me. watching him and mailman back in the day it was clear who was better and that was chuck he was fucking awesome did things that malone could never dream of doing. Barkley is so criminally underrated in the pantheon of nba history because of lack of championships.

#3 Malone. A bit of a compiler imo but there is no denying what a great player he was.

after that idk I only saw garnett, mchale, dirk and rodman play. Out of those 4 I would take Rodman on my team over the other three aside from Dirks magical year. Rodman was dominant in two things but he was the best of all time at rebounds and one of the best defenders of all time and that wins games and championships. Mchale was great too, not taking anything away from him but man Rodman was just a perfect specialist. Garnett was a beast but I feel those championships runs could have happened with a player there almost as good as kevin.

Ummm - no. The Nets would have likely won that series. They matched up very, very well against the Kings that year. 30 pt blow out in one of the games that season.

Barkley because you're not supposed to dominate the 4 at 6 ft 5. Those others are mostly 6'10-6'11, basically centers. Huge advantage. And he played mostly for bad teams...though there's a tradeoff since he then also gets the ball more. It was Jordan and Barkley for years back then after Magic. Malone & Duncan were better for longer though so for overall careers it makes sense to put them above him. Dirk & Garnett too...KG should be pretty high on the list based on his defense.

He's tough to rank though since it's him, Larry Johnson and a few others who did well despite of being undersized. Can't make a solid comparison since your peers have 5-6 inches on you, so you naturally need more skill on both ends. Barkley & Ball were beasts tho!
