If you noticed, even based on your own examples, Obama always approached these situations with a message of understanding for those feeling as if they were being victimized. He always gave people the benefit of the doubt.

Trump on the other hand only has understanding for white supremacists, with his half assed non-condemnations of people rocking Nazi regalia. This of course opposed to angry, vulgar name calling and personal insults when an athlete exercises his first amendment right.

The polarity between his response to Charlottesville and the NFL protests are completely indefensible and to draw comparisons to Obama in terms of divisiveness after that is a total reach.

What if someone in question was a Nazi's? In a free society, Nazi's are supposed to have rights and due process as well.

That is an important distinction that separates us from the Nazi's.

Even if someone were say, a Nazi, simply because we are used to mowing them down in video games, seeing them mowed down in movies ECT. is not a license to disenfranchise them, or as some have hinted literally "destroy" them for their stupid and destructive political beliefs. I understand what you are saying, but American political values and discourse is not the same as European political values and discourse.

Marxism (outside of academia and some quarters of elite thought) has simply never caught on in North American because of America's insistence on individualism, competition, and liberty as core values.

Therefore in a U.S. view of politics Hillary Clinton's evolution from a statist semi-kleptocract into a full blown race, class, gender European social democrat by past American standards is in fact far left for Americans.
