I'm assuming the "kh" is supposed to represent a guttural "h" sound. Like you sometimes see "Hanukkah" spelled "Chanukah" (yeah I know, Hebrew, but it's a Semitic language too.)

It is Khabib, pronounced like Scottish 'loCH'. It is a very common sound in Russian language.
