quick question about routine

ive been round and around with this and ive even posted about it here before but i dont feel like abusing the time of others, so:

adding a full body hipertrophy day to a two day split strenght routine will be effective to gain size?

Yes you coyld do that and it will work...something like

Day 1
Me deadlift/squat

Day2
Me bench/press

Day 3
Hypertrophy accessories
Biceps, shoulders tris etc.

You could get your volume in on the main lifts by doing back off sets with the main lift you do that day
 
It's not unusual for some powerlifting programs to have an extra day or two to do some "bodybuilding" type accessory. Usually more for upper body stuff that isn't some kind of bench, rather than more work for muscles already trained by the competition lifts.
