I think the VERY first episode I watched of TNA Raven was the champ (2004 maybe?) TNA has been around a good while...

Yeah. He was involved in the first ever ROH title match with Low Ki, Kendrick, and Doug Williams, so this was supposed to be like a full circle of his career type thing.

Daniels is a good wrestler. Had a triple threat with Styles and Samoa Joe that is just spectacular.
