Compared to many countries the US has a high percentage of prisioners.
Do you think that it's because of effective law enforment or that the sentences are too high ?
In many countries you get much lower sentences for drugs violence or financial stuff.
In my country we have to low a years in most verdicts imo.

Is there people here that think sentences should be reduced in America ?
Are the financial priorities of the commercial prision system winning from justice ?
Or are most criminals just getting what they deserve ?

that dude that killed 70kids is asking for the latest version of playstation so he can play games well, or it's a human rights abuse.

I think the US is the middle ground. You are comparing the US to probably a very liberal country that you didn't even name or provide statistics for. On the other hand, compare the US to basically all of the Middle East and Asia, and the US will look quite nice.

Need that free labor so corporations can make money, obviously. Why would you ever want to lessen sentences?

It's because the so called land of the free is actually a police state designed to enslave you. If you want to know the truth

You could say the same thing about all nations though (anything that is governed basically), and it would be true to some extent. Look at Asia and you will see far harsher laws.

We have some great groups of people that committ just a ton of violent crime. Seriously, let's not wipe their asses for them. If they won't clean up their act, build more prisons and make them true dungeons

Middle eastern ones also. Probably Russia. Most places outside of the West I think. Not familiar with various laws/systems in Africa though.

Well now you just look like a crazy person. The owners of this land have created laws and you will obey them. Everybody has the option not to be a criminal.

Ergodan has over 100 journalists in jail. He just jailed another for 2 and a half years, because he said Ergodan is a dictater.

Pakistan put a woman on death row for drinking water.

England apparently has enough police resources to spend time listening to non-crime hate offenses.

The 3 strikes your out and the plea bargain deals are absolutely ridiculous from a human rights standpoint

It appears Iran has the death penalty for drug traffickers.

"Iran’s Islamic Shariah law stipulates capital punishment for a wide range of crimes, including murder, rape, child molestation, sodomy and drug trafficking. "

Actually no we don't. But we do have the option whether or not to be a boot licker. And the ownership you speak of is illegitimate.

The only iligetimate thing being discussed here are you’re views. Sorry bro, you are a US citizen just like everybody else, you have no more claim to the land than anybody else posting here or living in this great country.

Follow the rules or go to jail.

If we all have equal claim to the land then what gives you the right to make laws over it and subject everyone else to it? Force?
