In reality, virtually everyone at MW and LHW are just HWs who cut. All of these guys walk around at 200 lbs +. Fedor, Barnett, Cormier, etc could all cut their extra bodyfat and fight at much lower weights. Fedor and Cormier could make MW with low bodyfat but they don't want to diet down.

I believe Hendo weighed 206 for the Fedor fight. That's hardly a true HW. Talking about "this fighter could cut" is hypothetical nonsense. Fedor and Barnett never cut to LWH, so they should be considered full HWs until they do. Cormier cut to LHW many times, but MW would be a stretch. You know he had serious kidney issues from weight cutting in the Olympics, right?

Bottom line: fighters like Cormier and Couture are true "small HWs" who proved they could cut to LHW. Fedor, Cain and other 230-pound-ish HWs are pure HWs until they cut to a lower weight class.

- Babalu has fought at HW and weighed 225 lbs in the UFC, oddly enough, that is around what Fedor weighed during his prime.
- Randleman weighed 228 lbs. against Fedor. Once again, close to Fedor's weight.
- Lindland weighed 212 against Fedor.

You are acting like this is BJ Penn vs. Fedor or something. These guys fought at HW at very high levels. They aren't Welterweights who got fat as hell. All of these guys had better physiques than Fedor and weighed close to him.
