It's up to the states to confirm that you are only registered to vote in your current state of residence and not other states. If you recently moved and are register to vote in another state (which has happened before see 2000). The new state of residence should be the only valid registering, so the only way these people committed a crime is if they voted in two states and there is proof. So while leftists are getting ready to spike the football over this, the fact that they didn't cross-check between the states only proves Trump's case about the lack of authenticity checking in the votes.

This is true. People should responsibly tell their previous state that they've moved, but almost nobody does.
