Griezmann: Every player dreams of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern
Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann would find it hard to turn down Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Antoine Griezmann would be open to joining Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich at some stage in his career, but the attacker is adamant he has no intention of leaving Atletico Madrid just yet.

The France international is regularly linked with a potential move away from Atletico, and Manchester United are believed to be among the leading candidates to secure his services.

A move to Old Trafford is seemingly not at the top of Griezmann's wishlist, though, as he suggested other heavyweight clubs, including two LaLiga rivals, could be more attractive if he were to leave Atleti.

"Could I play for Real Madrid or Barcelona in the future? Why not," Griezmann was quoted as saying by Marca.

"It is every player's dream to play for a big club like those two or for Bayern Munich.

"But I cannot see myself at Barca or Madrid at this stage, nor at any other club. I am happy where I am now.

"I have no intention of leaving Atletico, not for Paris Saint-Germain, not for China, not for MLS, not for Russia and not for any other destination."

The attacker, who turns 26 on Tuesday, opted to stay at Atleti last year after holding talks with Diego Simeone, but he has made it clear his situation is not necessarily tied to that of the coach.

"My future does not depend on Simeone. He could leave one day or I could leave," Griezmann added.

"I called him ahead of this season to find out what his plans were, he told me he would stay and that felt good, so I also stayed.

"But we are not inseparable."
 
Manchester City charged after player protests against Liverpool
The FA has charged Manchester City with misconduct after the club's players complained vociferously to referee Michael Oliver.

Manchester City have been charged by the Football Association for failing to control their players against Liverpool.

The misconduct charge relates to City's complaints after Liverpool were awarded a penalty 50 minutes into Sunday's 1-1 Premier League draw between the two sides.

The hosts' players – including Yaya Toure and David Silva - fumed at referee Michael Oliver after Gael Clichy was adjudged to have fouled Roberto Firmino with a high boot in the box.

James Milner subsequently scored from the spot, before Sergio Aguero's equaliser earned a point for City at Eithad Stadium.

"It is alleged that in or around the 50th minute of the fixture, the club failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion," read the FA's statement.

Pep Guardiola's men have until 18:00 GMT on Thursday to respond.

Manchester United pleaded guilty to the same charge last week in an incident relating to their FA Cup quarter-final defeat at Chelsea and were fined the standard £20,000 penalty.

Techno just for going out when I was younger, now I listen to older choons / radio choons mostly :D

10 years from now no one will care that you guys came in second last year. Sorry. Or finished top 4 the past 12. Valencia were a top 4 team in spain forecer and they reached TWO FINALS in UEFA Champions League, theyre not considered a big club and Benitez had the common decency to leave when it got stale. Success in sport is winning, not coming up less short than everyone else, idk why you have such a low litmus. That stuff sounds all fine and well now, but hes wasted a great squad and history will not remember it as such
