1) he's never been that good.
2) he's not at his best.
3) he is playing in a system that does not suit him.
4) he is playing for tactical dinosaur for a manager.

Even when he was "on form" last season, he still missed a shit load, but because United were winning more, it didn't get brought up as much.

He's the kind of #9 who will get you 25 goals a season, where as a top top #9 will get you 40 in the same team.

Andy Cole-esque (I rank Coley higher). Difference is Cole was playing with Keane, Scholes, Giggs, Beckham, Yorke etc (SAF pulling the strings), not Matic, Fellaini, poverty Sanchez and RW Mata.
