Everyone always says he hasn't fought anyone, but this isn't true. Benavidez is a world class fighter and DJ beat him twice.

You can count on 1 hand how many prospects coming into MMA had the all around MMA credentials as CeJudo

And Horiguchi is another world class talent. Dj finished him.

DJ always fights the #1 contender every time during the USADA era. Look at the other champs...

Miocic is MIA after 2 defences
Jones has been MIA all of USADA
Bisping ducked everyone, and now we don't know what GSP is doing
Woodley says he's done fighting contenders
Conor gonna conor
Conor gonna conor
No one can hold on to the 135 strap since the real champ cruz returned

But DJ is here, post usada fighting the #1 contender every time and ppl are complaining smh

DJ is the only real defending USADA era Champ!

FACT!

I could destroy all of Mouse's career opponents at once

Amazing fighter, but a shallow division
Borg, Reis or Elliot level fighters would be buried in the LW/WW divisions

Midget's gonna midget.

Could it be that it only appears to be a shallow division because DJ is just so good? That's what I'm thinking.

Don't think so, the fighters I mentioned have very average records and would be washed out in any other division. John Moraga fought DJ after 2 UFC fights ... and is 7-5 in the UFC ...

I don't think MM can ever be the goat.

the flyweight division is like the MMA equivalent to the paralympics.

It's not really fair for MM to be compared to normal sized human beings, it's not his fault he is like this

Funny how people bring up size to discredit DJ and his division. They train just as hard, if not more, than fighters in higher weight classes.

And they are lighting fast.

this is because he was champ so long he beat everyone lol

Do you want him to fight Benivdez, Cejudo and kyoji over and over lol

Name a current champ that defended against 3 clear #1 contenders as those 3 above were?

Wait, no current champ has defended even 3 times against anyone lol

That's how good DJ is!

Listen neither of our points are mutually exclusive
DJ is an amazing fighter, but many of his defenses were against non-elite fighters.
In my opinion GSP's title reign is far more impressive

Wow! Benavidez, Cejudo, Dodson, and Kyoji!

Wait, who else? Isn't he supposed to have a title defense record? But I can count his impressive wins on one hand?

Dodson twice and Joe B twice helped his title defense record alot.

FACT!

Did that help my post be more believable?

MM resume > fedor resume easily
However
GSP resume > MM resume

Lets look at the records of the guys DJ has beaten after the fights...

Wilson Reis - 0-1
Tim Elliott - 1-1
Henry Cejudo - 1-1
John Dodson - 2-2
Kyoji Horiguchi - 5-0
Chris Cariaso - 0-2
Ali Bagautinov - 2-3
Joseph Benavidez - 6-0
John Moraga - 5-3
Ian McCall - 2-2

Only 3 guys have a winning record and one of them has left the UFC.

Really you have DJ and JoeB as dominant fighters and a lot of other challengers just being put forward because someone needs to fight for the belt.

>1-7 Tim Elliot

>2-1 Ray Borg

>Prelimer Moraga

>Chris Cariosso

It's hard to get excited about his fights when I have 30 pounds on him and his opponents combined. I respect his craft but he's the toughest 3rd grader to me
